Since its small beginnings in 1994, Cambodia Outreach has been growing steadily and significantly year by year. Cambodia Outreach would not be what it is today without the generous and faithful support of the Body of Christ worldwide throughout the years. Cambodia Outreach realizes that all our ministries' finances are God's finances; therefore we endeavor to uphold the highest financial standards and use all ministry finances with the utmost integrity. How is Cambodia Outreach funded? Cambodia Outreach does not have any main funding organization. This ministry is supported through the generous gifts of individuals, Churches and organizations around the world - both by monthly gifts and one-off gifts. We believe in development work and Church planting work that will eventually be financially self-supporting and over the years many of our projects have become self-supporting - no longer needing support from outside the country. However, there are still many needs and opportunities that donors around the world have faithfully partnered with us to seize the increasing number of amazing opportunities to change lives in Cambodia.
Donations
All donations to the ministry are recorded and acknowledged with a letter of thanks to the donor. Undesignated gifts are used where most needed and designated gifts are used strictly according to the designation of the donor as long as the designation is a current focus of Cambodia Outreach. Please contact us first before designating towards a project that is not a current focus of Cambodia Outreach.
Once donations are received for a specific project, funds for that project will not be sought any longer. In the case of the needed funds for a particular project being donated by multiple donors, the donors will be notified and the funds refunded to the donors if necessary. At times, a small percentage (no more than five percent) of the designated funds may be used to cover overhead costs.
Accountability
Cambodia Outreach's finances are governed by a well trained accounting team, strict financial policies and a Finance and Audit Committee. Donations given through New Life Foundation World Reach (NLF) or other entities are governed by the various organization's board of directors until they are transferred to Cambodia. For more information on our financial policies, please contact us.
