Our walk with the Lord does not end when we accept Him as our Savior. The process of learning and growing in Christ continues, and we provide multiple opportunities for adults to continue their pursuit of God. Click below to learn more about these ministries.
Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” This 9:10 Sunday morning discipleship class is essential in introducing and then bringing someone to faith in Jesus. It is a four part series that takes 12 months to complete. The end goal is that any unbelievers who partake in these classes will be a disciple of Jesus. These are the classes:
The Bridge of Life is a question and answer class open for anyone to attend. The goal is that unbelievers will be comfortable to attend and ask questions about God, Christianity, worship and build relationships with the believers in the class.
Knowing God is the next class about learning foundations and beginning understanding of Christianity. This class teaches how to pray and by the end the goal is for everyone in the class to have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Foundation is the beginning of the Christian life! The new believers are encouraged to be baptised in water, learn how to read and understand the bible, more about prayer and fasting and tithing.
Family of God teaches how the church body becomes like family and stresses the importance of relationships. At this stage a class member may begin to serve at the church services or lead a cell group. Also after graduation of this class a student may enroll in the elective class to become more mature in their walk with the Lord.

This is a group of older people in the church. They go to the sick and the struggling in our community of believers and they pray for their healing and wholeness. This group prays at the church as well as going into people’s home to bring them community and relief in their time of sickness.
The Lord said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." - Genesis 12:1-3
The parents of Joy Club were naturally curious about where their children were going and what the children were learning about. At first, the parents came and watched but as numbers grew, the need for their own teaching and discipleship became more evident. Bridge of Light is an outreach to predominantly the mothers of the Joy Club children. A group of dedicated ladies lead, support and teach this group of resilient women. Each week one of our church vehicles travels to the some of the slum areas in Phnom Penh to pick up the ladies to bring them to our centre. The ladies enjoy a time of friendship, worship and learn more about the Bible. An offering is taken up as we teach the ladies thank God for his provision. After a time of prayer and fellowship, a couple of cans of rice is given out to each mother to take home to supplement the family’s needs.
Pray for the Ladies to grow in the love and power of the Holy Spirit. Pray that the power of poverty will be broken over their lives.
Encounter with God retreats at New Life Fellowship Church are a vital part of each believer’s walk with God. It is a time of spiritual retreat with the Lord for the purpose of receiving healing of body, soul and spirit. We encourage every member of our church to take part in an Encounter with God Retreat and when they return, we always hear testimonies of the wonderful things that God has done in their lives.
People receive from the love of God; they receive forgiveness for past sins, freedom from spiritual strongholds and the ability to forgive those who have done wrong to them. At the end of every Encounter, we have a Welcome Back meeting with the entire church congregation. At that meeting all the participants rejoice in the tremendous things that God has done in their lives and many tell about what God has done in them personally.
This ministry reaches out to the business people of Phnom Penh to help them become Godly business people. Small groups of business people meet regularly to pray for and minister to the business people.
A strong church is established by a strong healthy marriage. New Life Fellowship believes that in order to have a strong marriage, God should be in the center. The positive influence that a Godly marriage has on the community is essential for Cambodia where families have been torn apart by the atrocities of war.
Sim Samnang and Samdy met at New Life Fellowship and quickly began growing as leaders and disciples. After getting married, they felt the call to Marriage Ministry. In 2004, Samnang saw there was a great need for a ministry that worked with the newlyweds and the marriages that may be struggling. In the beginning there were very few marriages in the church because of the age of the member but now the number has greatly multiplied. The ministry offers pre-marital classes as well as follow up sessions after the wedding. A marriage support class is offered to those who need it and weekly small groups for married couples encourage Godly marriages and accountability. On the last Saturday of every other month a marriage seminar is conducted at a local restaurant.
In 2009, the ministry was blessed from the Lord to be able to fund a marriage retreat to the beach in Sihanoukville in November. The three day retreat was time for couples to have fun, relax and through the Word brought by guest speakers, strengthen their love for the Lord and each other.
Samnang and Samdy would love to start doing a fellowship meal and a family fellowship during Khmer New Year. The fellowship meal would be more intimate and one on one then the marriage seminar and in a home not just a restaurant. The family fellowship would be a time of fun and games for the families of the church. All these events are open to all of the churches associated with New Life Fellowship.
Please pray for wisdom for Ps Samnang and his wife. That they lead by example and hear from the Lord regularly. Pray for the men of these marriages to accept the privilege the Lord has given them and to honor their wives. Pray the women will support their husbands in their marriages.
"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." - Ephesians 5:31
Reasmey and his leaders in Men of Honor, have a passion to raise up and encourage the men of Cambodia to be strong Godly leaders that lead successfully in the family, church and work place.
On the second Saturday of each month, the men gather together to provide accountability, fellowship and teaching on such areas as bibilical leadership principals, integrity, honesty, faithfulness, loving his wife and strength, Regular events include Men's Breakfasts, Soccer Saturdays and small groups for men.
Special sponsored events include guest speakers for Saturday events, Men's Breakfasts, conferences and camp outs that help build relationships, discipleship and reach out to the local men in the city.
Please pray for these men to become the leaders they are called to be. Pray for their hearts to be broken for Christ and that they stand up for the truth and freedom that is in Christ. Pray for the raising up passionate and Godly men that will influence all areas for of society for the Kingdom. Pray for the monthly support of $135 to come in regularly so that this valuable and important ministry can continue.
"...live a life worthy of the calling you have received." - Ephesians 4:1
When we first arrived in Cambodia, we found that the education level was very low due to the Pol Pot regime. As we worked here and the people started coming to know the Lord, we noticed that they had no marketable job skills. We were able to identify three main areas in which we could provide training to help. They were:
Teaching English
Computer training
Office Skills
We were able to identify these areas based off of information that the country, mainly the capital Phnom Penh, was moving from a farming society to that of a commercial society. At that time we bought three used computers, began teaching English and wrote and instructed a ten-lesson Office Skills Training Course, all aimed to serve the students who could not afford to go to a university.
We now have over 1000 students taking classes that include:
English - offered Monday thru Friday, free of cost, starting at 6AM and ending at 6:30PM
Office Skills - Two levels
Typing
Computers and Internet
Basic Management and
Others
New Life Foundation Office Skills Training School has gained an excellent reputation for producing highly qualified workers who are in demand all over Cambodia.
At the end of selected worship services, the speaking pastor announces the prayer team will be present and should anyone have any need of healing or prayer they are welcome to step forward. Our trained and equipped prayer team of up to 10 people led by Malis is there ready to pray for healing of sickness, diseases, for jobs, for families, students who are just needing a bit of support or for increased wisdom, faith... The team stays as long as needed sometimes up to a few hours to help those in need. What a blessing to pray for those in need, to help others through the sacrifice of prayer.
"As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." - Matthew 10:7-8
"With man this is impossible, but with God ALL things are possible." - Matthew 19:26
The church has over 90 small groups located around the city. The purpose is so that members of the church can connect with each other, grow closer to God, train disciples, care for one another and pray together. Each group meets weekly and has a leader together with an assistant consists 8 to 12 people with the vision to invite others and the assistant to lead their own group. Then we multiply again.
During the times together we are welcomed, worship God through singing and praise, study the Word together and pray that each may go into the world to Witness. Each group covers the same material, but has it's own unique feel as conversations are unfold and hearts are touched. It's a great way for accountability and to make lifelong friends.
Our leaders are trained at monthly meetings and sometimes special weekend trainings are sponsored and conducted by our brothers and sisters in Christ overseas to better equip our leaders in leadership skills, pastoral care, bible teaching, discussion leading, prayer and witnessing to the community. Bibles are distributed through the small groups as new people come and want to know the Living God through His Word.
